Welcome to BusboomFamily.com! This site was thought up several months ago while looking at boxes of photos with my mother (Brenda Patchel). I realized that there are TONS of photos out there that many people may not have copies of, or likely have not even seen! Being a technical guy who has done freelance web sites in the past, I figured I would be the best person to build this archive. Since the day I became interested in creating this site, I have also thought of other things I can add, such as blogs for anyone who wants to keep one, a family calendar of events, even a genealogy page. All of this is soon to come, but until then please read my site dedication, and create an account!
I will be maintaining the technical aspects of this site for the foreseeable future, but I am looking for volunteers to be site moderators. This role will be able to edit content of the site, validate and approve new users, and provide assistance to users who have information to distribute. It is my intention that all users will be able to publish photos and news eventually, but since the site is still being shaped these features are not available yet. The site moderators will be able to add this for the time being. Please email me if you are interested!
