Thank you, Oscar, for befriending us in Green Lake. You were so welcoming to us and our friends, who were so curious to see what was inside the 'dome house' across the street. We will miss your warm smile, your silly pranks, and your kind heart. My dad, Eugene, will especially miss you. Our love and prayers are with Janet, whom we have also grown to love and appreciate, and your children. We take solace knowing we will see you again someday in Heaven.

There are many, many stories out there about "The Legend", Oscar G. Busboom. It would be neat to capture some of them here on this website. How about some of the Luther League stories, or back on the farm at Flatville, or the house he modified a mile south of the Flatville church? Practical jokes are going into my book..."The World's Greatest Practical Jokers"...of which dad is going to occupy several chapters!
Great idea, Bruce! I will setup a way to post stories so that we can start sharing these. Stay tuned for instructions in the next few days... Everyone start getting your stories ready!
